On May 22, 2022, Bishop Pavel of Molodechno and Stolbtsi did the rite of the great consecration of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Cherkasy, Dzerzhinsk district and led the Divine Liturgy.
His Grace was co-served by: Secretary of the Molodechno Diocesan Administration Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok, dean of Dzerzhinsk Church district Archpriest Boris Poltorzhitsky, dean of Stolbtsi Church District Archpriest Alexander Martinchik, rector of the church Priest Nikolai Kololo, clerics of the Dzerzhinsk and Stolbtsi church deanery.
The deacon’s rank was performed by Deacon Dmitry Yatsenko.
The rector of the parish of the Church of Transfiguration of the Lord in Cherkasy, Priest Nikolai Kololo, was awarded the right to wear a gold-colored pectoral cross.
After a special litany a prayer was held for the Belarusian people and against the spread of coronavirus infection.
The sermon before communion was delivered by Priest Nikolai Kololo.
At the end of the service, Bishop Pavel awarded Valery Viktorovich Moroz, Commercial Director of New Land LLC, with the Order of the II Degree of St. Kiril Turovsky, in consideration of his diligent work for the Glory of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
Then Vladyka Pavel addressed the clergy and laity with words of edification and gave them all an archpastoral blessing.
