From December 5 to December 9, 2022, a training course “Interactive technologies and psychological and pedagogical support for youth work” was held in Minsk for the heads of the diocesan departments of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for youth work. The training was organized by the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs of the Belarusian Orthodox Church with the blessing of Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslav, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.
Teachers of the Republican Institute of Higher Education of Minsk delivered lectures to the participants of the event. Also among the speakers of the seminar were: psychologist Irina Samuilova (“Family crisis: what is it, ways to overcome”), Biblical scholar Veronika Androsova (“Modern methods of working with Biblical texts in groups”), blogger and priest Vladislav Beregovoy.
On December 7, 2022, on the day of the memory of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine, a Divine Liturgy was held in church of St. Fyodor Ostrogsky with the participation of students of the courses.
On the last day of the course, the head of the Department of Youth Policy and Socio-Cultural Communications Elena Ignatovich presented the students with certificates of completion of training.
