On May 7, 2024, on Tuesday of Holy Week, Bishop Pavel of Molodechno and Stolbtsi held the Liturgy at the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dzerzhinsk.
His Eminence was co-served by: Secretary of the Molodechno Diocese Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok, dean of the Radoshkovichi church district Archpriest Thomas Shaplyko, dean of the Gorodilovsky church district Archpriest John Goncharuk, rector of the temple Archpriest Boris Poltorzhitsky, clerics of the temple and the Dzerzhinsky deanery.
The deacon’s rank was performed by Deacon Dmitry Yatsenko.
According to the private verse, Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok read out the Easter Message of Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.
A festive procession around the church took place after the prayer service.
At the end of the service, Bishop Pavel congratulated the worshippers on the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ and addressed them with words of edification.
Vladyka Pavel congratulated the communicants on receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ and gave them all the archpastoral blessing.
In view of his diligent service and on the day of Holy Easter, the cleric of the parish of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in Dzerzhinsk, Priest Pavel Senkevich, was awarded the right to wear a mace.
