On the night of May 5, 2024, on the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, Bishop Pavel of Molodechno and Stolbtsi performed the procession, Easter Matins and the Divine Liturgy of St. Peter. St. John Chrysostom in the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Molodechno.
His Grace was co-served by Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok, Secretary of the Molodechno Diocese, Archpriest Alexander Popov, the cathedral’s clerk, and the clergy of the cathedral.
The deacon’s rank was headed by Deacon Dmitry Yatsenko.
During the Easter Matins, the Catechumenary of St. John Chrysostom for Holy Easter was read out.
During the Divine Liturgy, the Easter Gospel was proclaimed in 6 languages.
According to the private verse, Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok read out the Easter Message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
After prayer, Bishop Pavel consecrated Artos.
At the end of the service, Bishop Pavel congratulated the parishioners of the cathedral on the great feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ and addressed words of edification.
Vladyka Pavel congratulated the communicants on receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ and gave them all the archpastoral blessing.
In view of his diligent service and on the Day of Holy Easter, the cleric of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Deacon Dmitry Yatsenko, was awarded the right to wear a double oratory.
