On Monday of Holy Week, Bishop Pavel held the Liturgy at St. Peter’s Cathedral of Saint Anna in Stolbtsi.

On May 6, 2024, on the Monday of Holy Week, Bishop Pavel of Molodechno and Stolbtsi held the Liturgy at the Cathedral of St Anna in Stolbtsi.

His Grace was co-served by Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok, Secretary of the Molodechno Diocese, Archpriest Alexander Martinchik, clerk of the Cathedral and the Stolbtsi deanery.

The deacon’s rank was performed by Deacon Dmitry Yatsenko.

Denis Sergeevich Kolesen, Chairman of the Stolbtsovsky District Executive Committee, prayed at the service.

A festive procession around the church took place after the prayer service.

At the end of the service, Bishop Pavel congratulated the worshippers on the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ and addressed them with words of edification.

Vladyka Pavel congratulated the communicants on receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ and gave them all the archpastoral blessing.

Paying attantion on diligent service and the day of Holy Easter, as well as in connection with the 30th anniversary of the presbyterian ordination, the rector of the parish of the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Zasulye village of Stolbtsi district, Archpriest Ioan Leshkevich was awarded the right to wear a pectoral cross with decorations.

In view of his diligent service and on the day of Holy Easter, Archpriest Alexander Martinchik, the sacristan of the Cathedral of St. Righteous Anna of Stolbny, was awarded the right to serve the Divine Liturgy with the royal gates open according to “The Cherubim..”
