Bishop Pavel took part in the celebrations in honor of the Day of Remembrance of Equal-to-the-Apostles Methodius and Kirill and the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture held in Minsk

With the blessing of Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslav Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Spirit Cathedral was led by Bishop Pavel of Molodechno and Stolbtsi.

His Grace was co-served by Archpriest Andrey Volkov, Secretary of the Minsk Diocese, Archpriest Vitaly Bogdanenok, Secretary of the Molodechno Diocese, deans of the church districts of Minsk diocese and clergy of the cathedral.

At a special litany, prayer petitions were done for the health of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
The sermon before Communion was done by Archpriest Vladimir Uvarov.

At the end of the Liturgy Bishop Pavel, the clergy and laity proceeded in a procession to the memorial plaque with images of Saints Methodius and Kirill, where the Archpastor led the glorification of the equal-to-the-Apostles brothers and laid a bouquet of flowers at the memorial plaque.
Then Vladyka Pavel, accompanied by the clergy, held a prayer service, at the end of which he read out the welcoming speech of Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. Then a greeting word was given to the Deputy Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs Elena Ivanovna Radchenko.

In conclusion, Bishop Pavel thanked all those who presented for the shared joy of the holiday and wished everyone strength of spirit and body strength through the prayers of Saints Kirill and Methodius.
